How the records work
A numbered board is generated from the game number, difficulty, and generator version. ClassicWorks starts the timer on the first reveal or flag action and submits a completed numbered game only when its time is faster than the stored value. Games without a submitted time show the 30-minute baseline.
What a community record means
Times are reported by the player's browser and are not backed by a server-verified replay. They are a lightweight community challenge, not a formally adjudicated world ranking. Automated, forged, or manipulated submissions are prohibited by the Terms of Use and may be removed.
Share a numbered challenge
Open a difficulty above, then use the share button beside the game number. The copied link includes the mode, game number, and difficulty so another player opens the identical challenge. The Minesweeper guide explains safe openings, deductions, flags, and chording.
