ClassicWorks is built for evergreen browser games

ClassicWorks gives traditional games a focused, accessible, and durable home in the browser. Minesweeper is the first playable game, with a shared platform ready for future classics.

Built for careful play

The project favors readable interfaces, fast startup, consistent controls, responsive boards, and original help content. Minesweeper supports mouse, touch, and keyboard play, with the same core rules on every supported screen size.

Numbered games

Numbered Minesweeper games use a deterministic generator. A game number, difficulty, and generator version reproduce the same board and safe opening for every player. This makes shared challenges possible without storing every board in a database.

Records and privacy

No account is required. Preferences and personal statistics stay in the player's browser. When a numbered game is completed, the game number, difficulty, generator version, and completion time are submitted to the shared record service so a faster community time can replace the current best.

ClassicWorks is hosted on Cloudflare and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page and performance measurements. Advertising spaces are reserved in the game layout, but no advertising network is currently loaded. Full details are available in the Privacy Policy.
